The advantage of the electric only towel rail option is that no central heating system is needed. Each heated towel rail is supplied pre-filled with a fluid mixture and an electric element installed and tested before dispatch. There is no need to plumb the heated towel rail into a heating system, just fix the heated towel rail in position and connect the flex to a suitable power supply and you're done. We recommend installation by a qualified installer. The electric element is fitted vertically in the leg of the heated towel rail as shown in image. Earth connector also fitted.
Electric option for your towel rail please select right or left hand side. IE: as you look at the radiator.

The advantage of the dual fuel option is that during summer months and times that the central heating is out of commission, it is possible to continue to use the heated towel rail by simply shutting off the radiator valves and turning on the electric element. On all dual fuel options for traditional towel radiators the electric element is fitted at the factory and the towel rail tested before dispatch. The electric element is fitted Vertically in the leg as shown in image. Earth connector also fitted.
